Important results from the project
Noram Engineering and Constructors Ltd och Permascand AB have jointly developed an Electrochemical Cell Platform (the NORSCAND cell) for Industrial Applications. We have manufactured prototypes in two sizes (0,5 and 1,5 m²), tested and evaluated them.
Expected long term effects
We have designed and manufactured NORSCAND cells and designed and manufactured equipment and fixtures for the production of them. Together with potential customers we are discussing tests of the cells during 2017 at the customers site.
Approach and implementation
Based on the results from testing of the first 0,5 m² prototype, we have designed and manufactured a larger NORSCAND cell, 1,5 m². The first prototypes were delivered for test in September and after some modifications we delivered the second prototype in early December. Tests and evaluation is ongoing.
