Important results from the project
The goal of the project is to combine the two techniques for measuring light scattering of small particles to a new, better and more flexible technology. A new instrument was developed by the Eurostars project´s main partner LS Instruments. Cobolt has developed, built, tested, certified and shipped a new type of laser prototype to this instrument. The goals and objectives of the project have been met very well
Expected long term effects
The results of the project is from the technical point of view very well fullfilled. Cobolt has met all the technical specifications that were set out to reach at the beginning of the project. The CE certification was more difficult than expected to meet, but at the end it was possible to reduce the Electro-Magnetic disturbance to acceptable levels.
Approach and implementation
The implementation of the project plan has worked very well and this is both Cobolt´s and project partner LS Instruments opinion. Cooperation has been good and the budgetary framework has been kept. Project meetings in Switzerland and Sweden have been effective and issues have been resolved via email and / or Telephone as well.
