Reference number
Coordinator EP Center Holding AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 750 000
Project duration June 2024 - June 2025
Status Ongoing

Purpose and goal

Together with Enterprise Singapore, we are now creating a programme around "Open Innovation", in order to connect selected companies from Singapore even closer to our ecosystem. Our long-term partner ESG has given the go-ahead to part-finance the project, and we have 3 large companies in Sweden that have confirmed that they intend to participate in the program. With funding from Vinnova, we hereby further develop our "regular" programme to the next level, and thus once again put Stockholm and Sweden on the map to attract the most talented and fast-growing companies from Singapore.

Expected effects and result

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** That we, together with 3 Swedish (already identified and confirmed but not named for confidentiality reasons) large companies, should scout for solutions to existing problems in their operations, which can be solved with the help of technology from Singapore. The project includes both scouting of companies, selection of potential solutions for implementation, coaching of both startups and large companies to facilitate processes in the work, and finally selection of solution and implementation for commercial operation.

Planned approach and implementation

We develop an innovation process: - based on our agile process for innovation - with a supplier-led learning journey, together with experts from the big companies and with support of Epicenter´s experienced innovation coaches. - The focus is innovation and learning fast to just move forward with solutions that work. - Each project will produce a so-called MVP (minimum viable product) - The results will be validated by the large corps, with the ambition to be implemented in real operation over time. - Singaporian companies that pass all stages will thus receive a first customer in Sweden.
