Purpose and goal
The project aims to create a coherent and transparent digital value chain within the forestry and construction industry, with a focus on traceability and circularity. By integrating data and processes from forest to finished building, we aim for complete traceability and promote sustainable, circular flows through the value chain. The project has a broad representation with participants from the entire value chain as well as relevant standardization organizations.
Expected effects and result
The project creates a transparent and traceable digital value chain for and circularity within the forestry and construction industry, with digital product passports as the common denominator.
Planned approach and implementation
The project will demonstrate a digitally decentralized architecture with standardized technologies to illustrate the value chain from forest to finished construction and reuse. This includes integrated traceability technologies for data collection, a conceptual digital product passport based on existing and new standards, integration with BIM to show data flows, and demonstration of reuse processes.
