Important results from the project

Our AI solution for Medtech can communicate with empathy, intentions and personality. We aimed at developing the technical and scientific base of the project and thereby create better conditions for a competitive proposal to EIC Accelerator in March 2022. We have improved our technical solution, made several breakthroughs in our research, deepened our understanding of the market, the customer and the relationship between caregiver and patient, and been able to quantify the value we want to create both for actors in the health sector, and for society as a whole.

Expected long term effects

We have taken critical parts of our innovation to a TRL-6. Together with our partners, we have been able to deepen our understanding of the customer, the market and the society, and in what way our solution can create value on different levels. We expect this to lead to a competitive proposal to EIC Accelerator in March 2022. Our vision is that future technical solutions within the field of precision health will be able to communicate with empathy. Thanks to this project we have been able to get closer to that vision.

Approach and implementation

The project was implemented in four work packages together with a prospect and two partners in the region´s health program. During the project, another prospect was added, which led to a broader understanding of our customers and our offer. We had to put more time into exploring the regulatory aspects of our offer than anticipated. We also had to spend more time into basic research than we had thought, as it turned out that existing AI models could not meet the needs for trust expressed by our test subjects.
