Important results from the project

Continued needs work consisting of more in-depth process and system mapping is carried out with the businesses and actors involved. The goal is to get a clear problem formulation so that a delimitation can be created that forms the basis for that demand and advertising to suppliers before the Innovation Partnership (IP). This means that most regions with the prehospital activities, stroke service and other relevant activities are involved and involved in the work. The next phase will define sub-areas to be exposed to competition in (IP)

Expected long term effects

Early detection can cause symptoms to be noticed earlier and an emergency process to start earlier. Being able to diagnose stroke in the prehospital phase means that treatment in the form of thrombolysis can be started earlier, and that the ambulance can get a driving decision to Lund if thrombectomy is relevant and thus shorten the time for that treatment as well. Data support is an overall need that affects the previously mentioned two areas of need and the data that forms the basis for the decision points that affect the opportunities to save time in the early processes in the stroke chain.

Approach and implementation

Refined the socio-economic analysis, which provided key figures regarding needs and innovation potential in the area of needs and involved activities in workshops and conducted early dialogues with small and large companies. Conducted meetings with aim for strategic impact have been conducted.
