Important results from the project
This training aimed to enhance managers and innovation leaders, innovation expertise to develop organizations innovation capability with focus on serviceinnovation. The goal has been for innovation leaders to implement new working methods. They have been cond- ucting change processes with support of creative techniques in collaboration with employees that also involved users. Doing this they aquired deeper knowledege in facilitating creative group- procosses. Politicians have participated in two training sessions to increase understanding to strategies for innovation.
Expected long term effects
Results from evaluation of the education and participants´ reflections indicates that innovation leaders and managers gained increased innovation competence for developing their organizations innovation capability. Innovation leaders has carried out various types of change with support of creative methods and tools together with employees in each business. Innovation leaders has acquire deeper knowledge in facilitating creative group processes. Through the service innovation process, the participants involved users the work of their organizations processes of change.
Approach and implementation
The training has been conducted during a year and had ten training sessions with different themes innovation management with a focus on service innovation. There have been 30 participants of which 18 innovation leaders and 12 managers. At the first and last training session was attended by politicians in order to increase understanding of the operations as regards of innovation efforts and for developing innovation strategies work applicable in the public sector.
