Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** We have tested and evaluated the arrowhead framework and tested sending data between the use-cases in the project. We have introduced a new drawing program Vertex which means a great reduction in man time for producing bathroom modules for our houses.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** When the Vertex-system is implemented in the company is the cost reduction to create a new bathroom up to 68%. The lead time for producing a bathroom is estimated to be reduced from 7 weeks to a couple of days.
Approach and implementation
Lindbäcks have gone further in the process to replace their old CAD-system from the 80’s with Vertex, a modern system able to create 3D BIM-models. Implementing the Converter so Podcomp can receive and utilize CAD files from both Lindbäcks and Lundqvist. Implementing height points in Vertex so Podcomp machine can do more processing without manual input, adding quality assurance. Adding the Arrowhead Framework into this workflow to simplify and make easier to iterate on
