EconoMIs - Economic mission to Israel

Important results from the project

EconoMIs allowed improving knowledge, understanding and creation of connection within Israeli food and agritech ecosystems through a series of visits, meetings and bilateral sessions organised by the Connector of Business Sweden. EconoMIs opens the road for economical and scientific collaborations between Norbite and several actors of Israeli agri-food-tech ecosystem, which corresponds to the accomplishment of the initial goal of the project.

Expected long term effects

Although no direct contracts have been signed during the course of the project, several of the contacts made during the implementation of EconoMIs have given follow-ups. Some insights have been more specifically discussed with the Vinnova representatives that took part in the program as well as with some other Swedish participants and we do expect significant breakthrough in the implementation of Norbite´s business model thanks to the participation in EocnoMIs.

Approach and implementation

The implementation of EconoMIs corresponds to the following of the program elaborated by The Connector of Business Sweden, and included visits to selected actors, e.g. Fresh Start Incubator, Margalit Startup City Galilee. Also, included in the program were some formal and informal meetings with representatives of academia, business and investment parties, through the meet-up organised by Mindspace and a dinner organised by the Swedish embassy in Israel, additionally, Norbite has participated in Planet Tech Conference in Tel Aviv.
