Important results from the project
TOFFEE intends to answer the following questions: How can more offering organisations be attracted to participate in the offering process? How can the number of actual orders related to existing agreements be increased? How can offering organisations be supported in delivering complete offers? How can a comprehensive e-service concept be developed? How can an e-process be developed to be sustainable over time?
Expected long term effects
the result will be: 1) A sustainable e-service concept for efficient public trade with related example e-services. 2) A generic and sustainable busioness model for trade with and within public organisations, based on the developed e-service concept. En generisk och hållbar affärsmodell för handel med och 3) An evaluation of how the Visuera method and tool can be used for developing and maintaining sustainable e-services. 4) An improved Visuera method and tool, which allows for efficient development, maintanance, supervision and follow-up of processes and the IT support integrated in the processes. 5) Documented experiences of how a process oriented e-service concept can be introduced in a traditionally hierarchical organisation. The result can contribute to documenting the development of a successful business model for e-services as well as to strengthen the dialogue and knowledge exchange between the Region of West Sweden and its related actors. By this innovative development the region and the project´s result serve as an example for other public organisations.
Approach and implementation
A general method and tool for efficient integrated development, maintenance, supervision and follow-up of processes and their related IT support will be used to develop the e-service concept and example services. They will also be evaluated in the project.
