Important results from the project
In this project we will develop methods to observe drivers using camera vision, physiological measurements and system identification combined with traditional methods. Observation methods will be tailored to complex driving scenarios such as highway and city driving and observations will be translated into knowledge about the way the driver is using visual, motion, and other information to control the vehicle. The new observation methods and analysis tools will be integrated in commercial moving-base driving simulators with high-end vision.
