Important results from the project
Referring to global goals on environment and safety, future transport solutions need to be visualized and evaluated already today in order to guide decisions on design solutions. Here the driving simulator can play an important role. The project objective is to investigate how the simulator can be developed to a powerful tool for such futurological studies, and what the competence and technical needs are. Organizations/actors in the areas of futurological research, simulation/visualization, vehicle and infrastructure development will be involved and an action plan formulated.
