Important results from the project

The overall objective project is to provide Drive Sweden with a technology and service platform as well as associated conditions to enable development, demonstration and innovation of automated transportation and mobility services within Drive Sweden. The project has thus contributed to Drive Sweden´s objective of making Sweden a leader in this field.

Expected long term effects

The project has achieved the goals of providing Drive Sweden with a technology and service platform for use in Drive Sweden´s project. In this way, the project has enabled the development, demonstration and innovation of automated transportation and mobility services within Drive Sweden. Drive Sweden Innovation Cloud and Traffic Tower have been used in several project and demonstrations within Drive Sweden that have included investments in digital infrastructure, AI and internationalization. In addition to Sweden, demonstrations have been held in the USA, Singapore and France.

Approach and implementation

The project includes work divided into the following work packages / deliverables: WP1. Drive Sweden Innovation Cloud and Traffic Tower. Operation, support for connected partners, test sites, data, Basic functions for Traffic Tower. WP2. Connected Digital Infrastructure. Connection of 4G, 5G, V2X, traffic signals, traffic data etc. Geofence functionality. WP3. Digital twin, AI and Automation. Specific effort to support project with AI for increased automation.
