Important results from the project
The project has aimed to strengthen the conditions for the implementation of community led housing projects throughout Sweden. By disseminating knowledge, creating digital meeting places and more predictable paths for both groups, municipalities, lenders and other involved actors In collaboration, services and tools have been established, training packages and networks have been created, deeper understanding of groups conditions and needs has been analyzed. System barriers and opportunities for change that can pave the way for more construction communities have been defined
Expected long term effects
In-depth knowledge of groups, municipalities and other actors´ conditions nationally and internationally has been produced and reported. Compilation of obstacles and opportunities Knowledge, training and counseling support have been developed as well as digital meeting place Knowledge and concepts are spread across different networks, made visible in reports from other organizations Applied knowledge is available on how different actors should work to pave the way for and implement project. New actors and businessmodels are on emergence
Approach and implementation
The project has been carried out with three main areas The municipality´s processes, Funding and Law and the Community led housing processes Several issues are recurring within the work packages but have required completely different approaches. In-depth knowledge of the needs and conditions of different parties has been fundamental for working towards project goals Effect goals and addressed global objective remain relevant while content, opportunities and newfound knowledge nationally and internationally have created a broader foundation to stand on for further development
