Important results from the project
The objective that was set up around competence development for the company and the staff has been fully achieved. Many have been involved and have contributed and a new test and measurement center has been built including staffing. The project has created new knowledge and services that have led to new contacts and customers, which was one of the goals.
Expected long term effects
The project has gained attention and we have managed to bring other companies into our project, but also had the opportunity to share our experiences with others. We have also established contact with other companies that need the services we can now provide within Ultravacuum and cryotechnology. This means that we see a good opportunity to create more business in the area and that our company can grow with them.
Approach and implementation
The deliveries have been carried out 2022-2024 in full cooperation between Cern, Uppsala Universitet and RFR Solutions. In the start-up, a comprehensive review of technology, production and validation systems took place to secure the manufacturing chain. During the the project, there has been a knowledge transfer to RFR Solutions regarding vacuum and cryostat technology and within test and validation systems. Continuous follow-up of the project has taken place in a positive dialogue.
