Important results from the project
Have contributed to develop social work with digital tools and processes through a collaboration between Lund University´s Internet Institute and the city of Helsingborg´s research and development as well as the city´s social services.
Expected long term effects
The project has focused to develop proposals on how social work can be developed by digital tools and processes to better care for citizens of the municipality that needs help. In 2016, cooperation has resulted in a project plan for development work during 2017. Expected impact of the project is the development of existing and new digital methods and tools that will lead to a more efficient social services in terms of both to meet the individual needs of local residents and of a work environment perspective.
Approach and implementation
The project has been a collaboration between Lund University Internet Institute and the City of Helsingborg. This has been done through regular meetings and participation in ongoing projects. The project was sought individually by the researcher Stefan Larsson but has been conducted in collaboration with the researcher Lupita Svensson who granted similar project funds. This has resulted in significant synergies due to our combination of skills for the area.
