Important results from the project
Digital@Idag is an annual and national theme day about digitalization’s possibilities and challenges. The initiative was founded to strengthen Sweden´s abilities to affirm the structural transformation that takes place as an effect of digitalization, automation, and the establishment of new business models. Our goal is to inspire all people to be willing and able to participate in the digital society.
Expected long term effects
Digital@Idag´s expected outcome is to annually, during one day, create a clear momentum of the societal impact created by digitalization. By arranging popular education activities do we want to provide everyone in Sweden, improved opportunities to increase their understanding of the possibilities and challenges created by digitalization. The overall expected impact is to strengthen Sweden´s ability to affirm the structural transformation.
Approach and implementation
On the 2nd of October 2020, did 215 actors participate, and 285 activities were arranged in 110 locations around the country: from Kiruna in the north to Trelleborg in the south. Digital@Idag arranged four events: Sergels Torg, Tekniska Museet in Stockholm, Visualiseringscenter in Norrköping, and Hoting. Digital@Idag coordinates all activities and advertises them on our website and through social media. We strive to create a geographical and subject-wide span as possible!
