Important results from the project
The purpose of the project is to create technical conditions for Skånetrafiken to handle tickets digitally against third parties. The goal has been to implement and verify technical support for handling tickets to third party developers in accordance with the Ticket and Payment Standard (BoB) via the BoB API. The goal has been met.
Expected long term effects
Skånetrafiken can now continue with the preparations required to 1) enable market tests with external operators including handling tickets for travel with Skånetrafiken, and 2) enable commercial 3é party services that include handling tickets for travel with Skånetrafiken.
Approach and implementation
The project was implemented as 4 work packages. The planned layout has worked well and both schedule and costs have been kept. There remains a smaller part of the fourth work package where we have an external dependency. This remaining part is scheduled for completion in August.
