Important results from the project
The overall aim of the project was to meet the challenge of circular food systems with the challenge of converting to digital information structures and resources. The combination of these two challenges can provide an accelerated force of change and an opportunity for learning and development that creates benefit for many.
Expected long term effects
The preliminary study resulted in three focus areas - localization, communication and economy. Locating to identify locations for cultivation. Both to be able to be more proactive in engaging growers in the near future and also not to make future cultivation impossible by using the land for something else. Communication to clarify the issue and to influence stakeholders and decision makers. As well as financial models for the farms to function over time. Tools used to meet these needs were multi-criteria analysis, visualization in the digital twin and an overview of business models.
Approach and implementation
The preliminary study was carried out based on the Innovation Guide from SKR. The working group consisted of three layers. The innermost core consisted of the five parties that received funding and it was within that group that production and the main work took place. The layer outside the core consisted of five actors who are active in adjacent project and who had an important role for anchoring in previous work. They participated in interviews and at work meetings. In addition to these layers, various actors were invited as needed, for example for presentations and workshops.
