Important results from the project
The project´s objective was to produce a basis showing the possibility of starting a RDI-project for a digital transformation of the recycling industry. The evidence shows that it is possible to start several RDI projects, each of which solves part challenges along the way towards the longterm vision of the project. One of the identified challenges is the relatively high costs involved in the development. It is therefore important to identify areas where financial sustainability is possible. The projects will have to find areas where financial incentives are within reach.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has already resulted in a number of applications for new RDI- projects. In the longer term, the project team expects effects in the form of increased digitization, traceability and transparency, the development of new technology, new processes and services. In this process, new FUI project is expected in new constellations to find solutions for increased resource efficiency, circular flows of components and materials.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has progressed according to plan and the arrangement has largely worked well. Challenges identified were mainly related to coordination between different participants and smaller sub-projects of the participating project partners. The project has coordinated information and conclusions from the project team with results from more operational parts of the organization. This has been very educational and has created a good basis with insight on what challenges should be addressed.
