Important results from the project

The goal was to investigate, specify, design and develop and test prototype for a municipal version of Deedster for Eskilstuna Municipality. The prototype will then be approved and will be the basis for the development of a full scale version for Eskilstuna´s residents, which can be launched this fall.

Expected long term effects

Prototype 0.9 has been developed and approved with good results. Prototypes in iOS and Android have also been developed and are in test for approval on May 4th. A pilot version is expected to be tested in the municipality on a larger scale on May 14th. It will then be used as a base for launch to the municipality´s residents during the fourth quarter of 2018, and will also serve as a basis for other municipalities who wish to use Deedster.

Approach and implementation

The municipal prototype has been developed in two main workstreams: 1) Design and design of the knowledge section of the App Deedster in which municipal-specific content should be included. 2) Development of municipal-specific content. Design and design have been carried out in two design sprints and two development sprints with SDG12 subcontractors. Content development has been carried out in nine different theme groups in Eskilstuna and a project group. Eight workshops have been conducted with the thematic groups, accompanied by two iterations for feedback and corrections.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
