Important results from the project

Objectives and goals of Digital Stambanan is to identify and select companies within two types of value chains, as well as implementing workshops in order to map challenges and opportunities with digital information and data exchange platforms. In addition, two innovation hubs will be identified that will be platforms for the main project. The two value chains are: 1. Manufacturers in Manufacturing 2. Manufacturers in Process Industry Two workshops have been completed, one for each type of supply chain.

Expected long term effects

The result of the preliminary project is that companies within the respective supply chain have been identified, two workshops carried out. Two innovation hubs have been identified: - Chalmers - RISE ICT in Västerås These two hubs will be platforms for the main project.

Approach and implementation

Blue Institute was selected as responsible for mapping value chains, selecting companies and implementing workshops focusing on the value chain of the process industry. Production2030 together with RISE (former SP, Tunga Fordon in Växjö) has mapped value chains, selected companies and implemented a workshop with a focus on the manufacturing industry.
