Important results from the project

The project has met the intended objectives. It has developed methods and techniques for obtaining, and utilizing information in bankruptcies that lead to a lasting result results. The developed service product will provide lasting gains and benefits by helping to utilize, utilize and capitalize values in information volumes in bankrupt companies. It will also contribute to increased transparency as support for the bankruptcy trustees´ review assignments. The project has also contributed with research results on how information value is created and maintained

Expected long term effects

The project has confirmed the importance of collecting and making digital information available in bankruptcies to find otherwise hidden values and that digital information contributes to transparency in the bankruptcy trustee´s review assignment. An overall work process has been developed that constitutes the service product. The overall result is that the project owner intend to launch the service product for the retrieval of information in bankruptcies companies after the end of the project. The project has created a positive collaboration with the academy that will continue.

Approach and implementation

Planned information structures have been developed together with users and tested practically against established guidelines and proven to be functional. Users have influenced design through needs / demand, and tested the finished result. Functions for data extraction, storage and transfer from data sources have been developed and tested by users. Software has been tested for various steps. The legal situation for handling digital information in bankruptcy has been clarified. A research effort has been carried out within information value
