Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** With strong needs for innovation, it is important to take a closer look at how boards view their role in driving innovation within the framework of their strategic responsibility, and to examine how this can also be more strongly linked to the challenges management and organization face in operationalizing such a strategy. Organisations have actively participated in the work of translating specific research results into practical application. In the project, we have worked to develop the boards´ existing working methods to implement the results.
Expected long term effects
Focus is on developing increased knowledge and understandings, develop models and processes for how to strengthen and understand boards work in their efforts to strengthen the innovative capacity of the organization. Results from interview studies and questionnairs will be discussed and reflected upon in collaboration with partner organizations to enable further development of important mechanisms. Other involved actors such as IVA, CMB, Styrelseakademin will be involved in spreading results.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The study has a qualitative and a quantitative part. The qualitative consists of case studies of the partner organizations, where in-depth interviews with board members and parts of the management will be conducted, the results and analysis of which are then reflected in WS format to understand key mechanisms. The quantitative study consists of a questionnaire study. The target group here is board members in organizations with ambitions to increase their innovative capacity.
