Project duration August 2019 - April 2021

Important results from the project

A key objective for Effektfullt is to develop a sustainable business model that allows us to continue to operate and grow our activities. A possible part of our business model, which we tested within the framework of this project, is that funders partner with Effektfullt to provide support in impact measurement to projects that have been granted financial support by the funder. Within the project we have developed and piloted this concept, and based on our lessons learned further developed the concept and successfully offered it to more funders.

Expected long term effects

Six projects participated in three 2 hour trainings. Four of the six projects made use of the tailored advisory support that was offered in addition to the trainings. Two of the six projects have become members of Effektfullt. The material used during the trainings has been further developed and has become a useful starting point for other service deliveries. The offering will be tested / has been tested with more funders. We see good potential for this to become part of our business model.

Approach and implementation

The three training sessions were two hours each, which we feel was too long online - in the future we will instead design shorter and more frequent sessions. Our impression is that the tailored advisory was essential for the projects to develop their impact measurement and the no of advisory hours could benefit from being extended. We believe that the projects that developed the most were those that invested time in own work in between the support sessions. In the future, we will communicate the importance of the projects allocating time to such work, in order to fully benefit from the support.
