Important results from the project

RAPP is a digital solution for monitoring patients´ recovery after surgery operations. The purpose of the project has been to create the conditions for simplifying and increasing the use of RAPP. To make RAPP more accessible, the intention was to further develop the system and prepare for a connection to Inera´s security services in order for the caregivers to be able to use same login system and access control that they use daily. This is requested from healthcare providers and will simplify for new customers to use RAPP. The project goals are now completely fulfilled.

Expected long term effects

The project has resulted in RAPP being prepared to take the next step and, together with a healthcare provider / customer, carry out final tests and connect to the national security services. RAPP intends to apply for Innovative Startups part 2 in order to be able to conduct final tests and then offer the solution to existing and new customers / healthcare providers. By making it easier for the healthcare provider to use RAPP, we believe that we have the opportunity to reach 10-20% of the Swedish market within 3 years after the completed project.

Approach and implementation

Within the project, the intention has been to - Investigate and identify the requirement for interfaces, parameters and communication between RAPP and the security services. - Conduct software development. - Test the functionality of the system The development has been carried out together with CGI, which is an IT supplier with extensive experience in developing services with similar requirements. The end date of the project was postponed due to reasons that neither RAPP nor CGI could influence. Within the extended project period, the work has proceeded according to plan.
