Important results from the project

The purpose of the project to develop green chemicals from renewable raw materials have been met. Gipeco has succeeded in developing a new, environmentally friendly and effective product series based on renewable raw materials.

Expected long term effects

Gipeco has developed new products with improved environmental performance. As a result of this project Gipeco will be able to work with smart and renewable raw material bases. The project has improved our technical capabilities and enables Gipeco to take a leading role in the development of cleaning products made from renewable raw materials. We therefore expect growth in both existing and new markets in the coming years.

Approach and implementation

Gipeco has carried out the project with the help of a group of formulation experts consisting of carefully selected chemists. The collaboration has consistently worked very well. Meetings and reconciliations have taken place continuously throughout the project. Method development of time-efficient cleaning tests took longer than expected, but thanks to the good cooperation of the project team, the pace of innovation could accelerate towards the end of the project. A key success factor has also been easy access to real test objects at existing customers.
