Important results from the project
Robust electronic systems has been developed for a zero series robot. This simplifies the certification process of the robot system and will eventually supply the production industry and service sector with possibilities of flexibility in automation on a new level.
Expected long term effects
The expected results and effects of the project lies ahead. A big step has been taken to enable a fexible and ultra compact robot arm that leads to higher productivity and lower thresholds for automation investments.
Approach and implementation
The project has involved development and testing of motor drive circuits, control circuits and a vision system. The cabling for a zero series robot has been redrawn with a demonstrator robot as model. The project has progressed according to plan except that parts of the demonstrator robot´s base has been forced to be redesigned.
