Important results from the project
This project was conducted to perform a feasibility study into the commercial and technical viability of a depression treatment based on transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and digital therapy, at home. The goal was to analyse the market opportunity and the patients´ response to the product from a usability perspective.
Expected long term effects
- The product was found to be commercially viable with demonstrated demand from a large and reachable target market of end-users who are willing to pay for its services. - Usability trials showed a positive response from potential users and valuable feedback was collected.
Approach and implementation
- The demand for the product was measured using sales tests online. Traffic was directed toward landing pages and different metrics were collected. - Usability trials where users were exposed to the product was also conducted and feedback was collected.
