Important results from the project

The preliminary investigation has examined the needs and appropriate structure for a test and demonstration facility for individual wastewater solutions. The desirability invstigation performed by the Project team, where realizability of the project idea was investigated, gave positive indications. Contacted business representatives have expressed interest in participating, either as customers or in consortium. The project is suggested to be be taken to the next phase.

Expected long term effects

The activities have in general been implemented as planned, with expected results. The project has gained a deeper understanding of the realizability of the project parts. A timetable for launching of the detailed project components of the full scale project has been developed. A network consisting of representatives from the relevant authorities, area experts from the scientific side and the industry has been established. The preliminary investigation has produced the desired outcome.

Approach and implementation

The project has organized a number of project meetings and workshops where the involved experts and industry representatives participated with great interest. The experts assigned to the project have been shown to contribute with valuable knowledge and great weight. The structure with a central project management and a more peripheral panel of experts has proven successful, and the consortium that will take the project forward has to some extent been established.
