Important results from the project
The project has through its approach deepened the understanding of demand-driven development. It has uncovered many of the processes of change taking place in the public sector where the development is expected to be more demand driven and featured a variety of design methods (tools and processes) that are expected to ensure that the development is demand driven . The project has also supplied various work materials (text and film) for the dissemination of knowledge outside the participants, as well as authored a number of scientific articles for the scientific community.
Expected long term effects
The overall conclusion is a result of the implemented activities and the scientific analysis of the empirical evidence and shows that demand-driven development in practice can mean both support to realize pre-path understandings in a better way as a challenge on the road itself is right or needs to be thought about. To describe this as a known - unknown participants and known - unknown services provide an understanding of existing tools and processes (support) and issues that challenge the structures we know of (challenge), where critical design methods can help.
Approach and implementation
The project has followed the planned layup with five workshops, one for each challenge, conducted together with the previously identified key individuals and based on ongoing research. In addition, all workshop initiated by interviews with citizens around the theme, the exercises have been documented and analyzed, and interviews were conducted with participants and speakers (which is the basis for the work material). Each workshop concluded with a reflection and concretization to summarize and discuss the next steps.
