Important results from the project
Through the workshops we acheived increased understanding among the officials about what areas can be suitable for collaboration between the countries and the consensus was that there are good conditions for conducting research projects in the area of health in cooperation between Sweden and South Africa.
Expected long term effects
In the workshop we identified a few areas which can be seen as a primary for a future cooperation. Commitment and willingness to go ahead with concrete Projects was expressed all and the proposal is that the organisations will meet in spring 2016 to work on and concretize the areas identified.
Approach and implementation
The representatives in the workshop from both countries were relevant and knowledgeable. The outcome was fully in line with planned result.
