Important results from the project
The PSI directive, adopted by the European Commission, encourages re-use of public data. With the aid of the principle of free access to public records, Swedish journalists have for a long time had access to documents handled by the authorities. This principle is now expanded to access of stored digital public data, and new opportunities are presented to journalism and its role for democracy. This project aims to develop services for data driven journalism and is a joint collaborative project where the project group consists of SVT, Glykol and Södertörn University.
