Important results from the project

All objectives were largely met. This was a pre-study and the investigations that were planned have been carried out. A full-scale project is currently being discussed based on this pre-study.

Expected long term effects

If a full-scale project is carried out and the developed solution gets implemented in the design process of ADAS, it has great potential to lead to ADAS that better meet the drivers´ needs and expectations. This in turn is expected to lead to improved traffic safety and efficiency.

Approach and implementation

The project was divided into three work packages. Through literature studies, interviews and workshops, it has identified the types of insights sought by UX designers and human-machine interaction experts, mapped the availability of relevant data, and proposed initial ideas for data-driven methods and a full-scale project.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
