Important results from the project

The aim has been to coordinate SIP LIGHTer during stage 3 (200701 - 230909). The goal of SIP LIGHTer is to implement the Lightweight Agenda, "Lightweight solutions strengthen Swedish competitiveness and growth". The nine-year evaluation concluded that: 1) LIGHTer is a well-structured and well-managed programme that has created opportunities for industries and fields of science to meet across traditional borders, 2) LIGHTer has consistently pursued sustainability, growth and innovation efficiency, 3) LIGHTer has put Sweden on the international lightweight map.

Expected long term effects

With The Lightweight Agenda as a base, LIGHTer has developed an effect logic. Of our 7 innovation mechanisms, 4 have their own strategic project. In the remaining 3 innovation mechanisms, we have set up 22 activities which we followed up on how well we reached the goals. We have achieved or exceeded the target in 19 activities. In 3 activities we have changed the plans due to the Corona pandemic and changed conditions. The attached progress report describes the outcome during the period 230201-230909 in relation to the program plan and action plan and overall outcome for the entire project.
