Important results from the project
The project was carried out according to plan and provided a very good network of contacts within and outside Europe both in research on materials and business opportunities, this was documented in a technical report. The experimental activities, manufacturing and analysis were completed and documented in a technical report.
Expected long term effects
The conditions for building a functioning European value chain in both the production of raw materials and components for the aerospace industry are good. The development of bio-based materials is ongoing and looks set to have a good future.
Approach and implementation
The project was carried out according to plan, however, an extension had to be requested to complete the experimental parts of the project due to staff shortages and delays in the delivery of raw materials.
