Important results from the project

The project involved building a biodata based coaching bot (Linus) as an automated part of our B2B service for objective coaching. At the start of the project, we had our extensive biodatabase from previous deliveries, but no automated elements. The project was very successful despite some parts affected by the Corona pandemic. The main goal of the project was an updated app for our service with Linus in new form, to find individuals in need of support and give recommendations. The app is in beta testing right now and will be launched at the turn of the year.

Expected long term effects

The most important results are a) categorization of our biodatabase, b) intervention study with 50 individuals, c) models for finding individuals in need of support, based on machine learning and regression, and d) app with bot design, user dialogues and automated recommendations. In addition to the stronger user experience, these results have enabled a more scalable product packaging with fewer elements of human interaction. We are in the middle of the launch of this new format. Other outcomes are a published master´s thesis and studies that enable 1-2 scientific publications.

Approach and implementation

The project was based on a collaboration between Linkura AB, Linköping University and Devoteam AB. In summary, we succeeded beyond expectations with the work packages and the aim of the project. The only negative to report was that the intervention study was quite strongly affected by the Corona outbreak. The participants had difficulty performing controlled exercises to reduce their stress levels due to the pandemic. However, the data obtained proved still to be relevant and useful for the project.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
