Important results from the project
A market analysis and market analysis is completed. In connection with this work we contacted inspection companies that works mainly with oil and gas industry. We have a good picture of how the technology for internal inspections works, with pros and cons.
Expected long term effects
A report (attached) has been developed where the results are reported. The report will be disseminated in VA circuits through our network of contacts, but also presented at conferences.
Approach and implementation
The project team has completed projects meetings about every 14 days during the spring of 2015. The meetings were by telephone, but also physical meetings have been conducted. The project team also participated in the conference Pipeline Technology 2015, where much valuable knowledge gathered from other pipeline owners from other countries. The project has engaged an external consultant as editor for the work on the report.
