Purpose and goal
We have established a Swedish competence hub within antenna-, microwave-, and terahertz-systems (AMT) within the Strategic Innovation Program Smarter Electronics Systems. The competence hub has contributed to increased knowledge about Swedish AMT actors, made the AMT area visible, acted as national contact point and strategic resource within Swedish AMT
Expected effects and result
Created better knowledge transfer and collaboration in the supply chains by increased knowledge about Swedish AMT. Kept and developed Swedish areas of excellence by enhanced visibility and coordination of AMT actors. Secured new competence by increased information to students about AMT
Planned approach and implementation
Vinnova competence centres GHz Centre and ChaseOn coordinated the competence hub AMT: (1)Listed all Swedish AMT actors (2)Functioned as national contact node when searching for competence and contacts within Swedish AMT (3)Made the AMT competence hub visible (4)Served as strategic resource for coordination and contribution to AMT
