Important results from the project
The project´s three work packages have been completed. - A strategy for project communication has been developed, tested, refined and is now being established. - The special focus on storytelling now enables more people within the program to be involved in the support to the project to reach out and spread their innovations. - A developed Innovation Academy is now in place and ready to be communicated on websites, through innovation coaching, newsletters and other things. - A new web tool has been adopted for program news.
Expected long term effects
A developed strategy for project communication, the investment in storytelling, educational platform in innovation and effective news tool all contribute to achieving the overall objective of InfraSweden, which is to support innovation that can contribute to a climate-neutral transport infrastructure. Expected effects are about reaching out with the program´s message, attracting new actors, creating and supporting relevant ones that deliver results that are implemented as well as influencing the industry by, among other things, strengthening its innovative capacity.
Approach and implementation
In terms of implementation, some changes have been made compared to the original plan. For example, in the development of the strategy, no initial interviews were conducted because those who were tasked with developing the strategy have ongoing contact with the project through innovation coaching and thereby had good knowledge of the projects´ communication needs. At I Innovationsakademin, we chose to produce more simple films instead of a few more lavish productions.
