Important results from the project

The project has developed and demonstrated AI-based methods to strengthen cybersecurity in smart grids. Through collaboration between companies, academia and grid operators, new solutions have been developed and tested in real-world environments. The results include scientific publications, innovative methods for analyzing grid data and strengthened expertise in the field. The project has also laid the foundation for continued research, innovation and commercialization in future secure grids.

Approach and implementation

The project was carried out as an international collaboration within Celtic-NEXT involving academia, industry and the energy sector. Following delays in international funding decisions, the Swedish consortium focused early on smart and secure electricity grids. The work was organized through joint work packages, regular meetings and close technical collaboration. Despite consortium changes, the project was completed successfully and achieved its objectives.
