Important results from the project

The project achieved its main objectives, including the launch of a digital platform to boost customer engagement and streamline Cohabit’s circular model for pre-loved furniture. Through Circuly, Cohabit automated key backend processes—order management, subscriptions, invoicing, and communication—reducing errors and enhancing efficiency. Customers can access pre-loved furniture with greater convenience. Although engaging partners on the platform was delayed, it remains in future plans.

Expected long term effects

Our long-term impact is through promoting circular consumption, and fostering partnerships for sustainable business growth. We significantly reduce waste generation by introducing customers to circular solutions and creating a good experience. Automating operations has improved efficiency and customer experience, while partnerships with Circuly enhance furniture reuse tracking. Local collaborations are vital for building a circular economy network, and to promote sustainable consumption.

Approach and implementation

Cohabit selected Circuly for integration with Appsheets and stripe for the digital platform. While some requirements were not fully met, Circuly´s support was crucial for the initial phase of the development. Further Appsheet and Stripe were connected through APIs. The collaborations with local businesses aimed to optimize sourcing, logistics, and outreach which has begun successfully. Despite challenges, the project establishes a foundation for Cohabit´s future impact on circular consumption.
