Important results from the project
The project focus is on the development of polymers that will be used as binders in various coating systems. Future applications could be found in coil coating, wood coating for exterior use, and clear wood coating. A key aim is to produce binders for coil and wood coatings based on renewable materials that have similar characteristics as existing systems. Developing a clear wood coating with a high UV resistance is also an aim for the project.
