Purpose and goal

CoAction Lund mobilizes a large number of actors to work together to bring about a large-scale change process. We want to take joint responsibility, test and implement climate initiatives and inspire others. Overall goals: - A climate-neutral Lund in 2030 - Increased collaboration and cooperation to reach solutions that can only be achieved together - Achieve the "third goal" ( = 1/3 cycling & walking, 1/3 car traffic, 1/3 public transport) - Open, flexible, digital and robust energy systems

Expected effects and result

With CoAction Lund, by 2030 we will achieve a society that is equal, egalitarian and climate neutral. Emissions from the transport sector have decreased by 90% and a maximum of one third of transport is by car. Electric power has been made available for vehicles through flexible energy use, local production and storage of electricity and an internetified energy system. The practical phase leads to increased collaboration, reduced emissions from transport and of models for the new energy landscape

Planned approach and implementation

CoAction Lund is organized through a “Hub” for collaboration and process management, “Arena Mobility” for the creation and implementation of mobility measures and “Arena Energy” for the creation and implementation of energy measures. In the practical phase, the emphasis is on "action" with over 40 planned activities. Some activities are direct emission reduction while others are exploratory, testing or learning. The ambition is to involve more partners to achieve an even greater effect.
