Important results from the project
Goal fulfillment for the project is judged to be very high. Through network meetings where actors from the entire ecosystem meet around important challenges, the project has contributed to: dialogue between different clients and with market actors, strengthened competence around sustainable development, climate neutrality and a resilient transport infrastructure, strengthened competence around innovation- promoting procurement and dissemination of knowledge and good examples.
Expected long term effects
The project contributes in several ways to InfraSweden´s effect logic. Innovation projects are presented and best practice is shares on solutions that reduce the climate impact from production and maintenance of the infrastructure, new materials, solutions for increased recycling/reuse of materials and improved forms of procurement. Important short-term effects: use of climate-smart solutions, that the industry becomes more dynamic and innovation-friendly as well as openness and cooperation.
Approach and implementation
The project has continued with the concept that was established during phase 1. Every year, 6 meetings are held, five of these are online and one physical meeting, most recently in Uppsala. Each meeting has a theme that is captured through requests from clients. We also work continuously with Case-Clinics where clients are given the opportunity to receive input on one or more challenges they are facing. In addition, innovation projects and other related initiatives are invited to present.
