Important results from the project

The purpose of the project is to take a doping test developed for autologous blood doping from verfication/validation to product. The goal is to produce 3x500 kits in a first pilot series. Production requires agreements with all suppliers and all stages of production are secured. This is all fulfilled. All kits in pilot production ordered and charged, of which the first 1000 kits delivered. Achieved goals are on par with accrued costs. In total, about 90% of the project has been completed, with 100% achieved in connection with the marketing at the WADA doping conference in Nov 2019.

Expected long term effects

3x500 kits in a first pilot series ordered, of which 2x500 delivered. Product specification established, agreements and all stages of production secured. Contacts with WADA, WADA doping lab, anti-doping organizations and sports associations taken. Expected effect is a doping test ready to go through WADA´s approval procedures. In total, about 90% of the project has been completed, with 100% achieved in connection with the WADA doping conference in Nov 2019.

Approach and implementation

The project consists of four phases, specifications, pilot production, evaluation and marketing planning. An important part was the determination of product specification with suppliers and WADA and anti-doping organs. The pilot kits have been developed (3x500pcs), important to ensure the right product / quality. Each batch of 500pcs undergoes an evaluation to ensure the requirements are met. Market planning has been done in parallel. All four phases have been completed, with only parts of long-term storage testing and participation at the WADA conference in Nov. is remaining.
