Important results from the project
The project aimed to strengthen the relationship between FOG and the School of Business and Economics and lay the foundation for active utilization of research on urban development. Through the collaboration, FOG has been permanently linked to the School of Economics and Business Administration through the Center for Local Government Studies in Western Sweden. The project also aimed to build up FOG´s competence platform within organization and management, which resulted in a more structured work with knowledge collection, reference management and internal exchange.
Expected long term effects
The project has contributed to knowledge development and utilization of research already during the project phase. Partly through interaction and advisory talks with about 20 administrations and companies within the City of Gothenburg, and partly through assignments for private property owners. The work has also led to continued knowledge development through new research projects and assignments, as well as academic qualification for the participants.
