Important results from the project

Goals for Bluetest ChaseOn SME project * Contribute with test solutions for project * Gain insight into new test requirements in the automotive and telecom industry * Investigate which eligibility requirements for future communication systems are suitable for testingX restrictions for testing user equipment and / or base station hardware for future communication systems 5G * Utveckla mode switch chamber technology to adapt to new test requirements for next generation wireless systems.

Expected long term effects

We have largely achieved the set goals. The technical investigations we have carried out have strengthened our organization´s technical level in the areas that are new in 5G in comparison with the earlier communication standards. Technology development has enabled us to develop new products such as RTS85HP for base stations testing and CATR in RC product for 5G testing of mobile phones.

Approach and implementation

Project input about new 5G standards and their technical features was gained from customers, industry partners, standardization organizations like 3GPP and CTIA and universities like Chalmers. Technical investigations were perfomed mostly by Bluetest by itself with some advice from Chalmers University and ChaseOn partners.
