Important results from the project

Cloudmore has accomplished in its Vinnova financed project to create a solution where a company can share files both externally and internally with retained security and control. We have developed a file and share synchronization service that encrypts all data already at the client and allows the owner to set policies that controls how a file can be opened, copied or shared.

Expected long term effects

Cloudmore´s technology is unique in the market today in the sense that traditional file synchronization solutions means you lose control over the files that are shared. With our solution you can share files with full security and still be in control over where and how a file is used.

Approach and implementation

The project was divided into 10 work packages to develop the components and clients required by the project. Each work package had clear goals that the members of the project work towards. The software development followed the SCRUM methodology with 2 weeks development cycles where each cycle had predefined tasks and goals that was evaluated at the end of each cycle. Daily “stand-up” meeting was held between developers and product manager to report status and highlight any potential impediments.
