Important results from the project
We have developed a system for calculating the blood-flow in the brain, in real-time. This is badly needed for treatment of patients with head injures, stroke, etc. as the blood-flow needs to be controlled. The function of the system will be verified in use and go through CE-certification over the next 2 years. After that we see a market for this system world wide since there is no existing competing product and the method we use is in the process of patent protection. Our plans is to cover the market in steps, the Nordic countries, EU, North America.
